Meet Dr. Kaler
Dr. Kaler returned to Sioux City to practice as an orthodontist in 1990. His team of reliable, well-trained professionals delivers high-quality, pain-free care in a friendly, relaxed environment. Dr. Kaler has found that just as his patients’ bites improve following treatment, so does their outlook and self-confidence.
Education
Dr. Kaler’s educational experience background includes:
- University of South Dakota – Bachelor of Science
- University of Iowa – Doctorate of Dental Surgery
- Oregon Health Sciences University – orthodontic certification
Continuing Education
Becoming an orthodontist requires thousands of hours of additional training, and to remain current, it requires many hours of continuing education. It is Dr. Kaler’s belief that learning never ends, and that excellence in delivery of care requires a professional dedicated to utilizing and understanding of current best practices and advances in research.

Away from the Office and at Home
A Sioux City resident and native of Sergeant Bluff, Dr. Kaler is married and has three sons. Among the hobbies he enjoys is collecting John Deere tractors.
